Interactive object with children

The main goal of this project is to create a working situation for the implementation of technical and theoretical principles of semi- automated wood manufacturing. Working in teams of two you will design and manufacture an interactive object for children 4-8 years old. This object is to be made up of repetitive elements (shapes and profiles) manufactured out of Baltic Birch plywood using the pin router. The teams will explore different methods and solutions of connecting the repetitive elements together to form structures that a 4-8 year old child can actively engage with, with limited adult supervision. Importance will be placed on the dynamic relationships.
